What needed to exist

Local discovery for the Philippines in one place.

Lokalista helps people find local businesses in the Philippines: search, maps and menus together, with flows for owners to claim their listing and for visitors to review it.

Architecture

Three applications: a map first app, an API and an admin.

  1. Public app

    A React TypeScript single page app with interactive Leaflet maps, AI smart search and concierge, QR digital menus, claim and review flows, and owner dashboards.

  2. API

    A CodeIgniter 4 REST API over MySQL.

    A separate admin application.
